Title 1: 

The extended review of the health care financing strategy 2012-32 focusing health financing functions and providing policy advocacy for health financing reforms as per review recommendations

Collaboration with : World Health Organization (WHO), Bangladesh

Position: Consultant

Major Tasks:

  • Conduct consultation and focus group discussion among the extended group of policymakers, health managers, civil society and international experts on the health financing issues
  • Organize technical consultations with key stakeholders for consensus-building on the findings
  • Contribute to the final report on the extended review of health care financing strategy
  • Prepare technical presentations and share the findings based on the review focusing on health financing functions
  • Sensitize stakeholders and policymakers on the review findings and probable pathways to make health financing progress
  • Provide strategic policy advocacy to the government on the possible health financing reforms based on the findings to accelerate the country’s progress towards universal health coverage

Title 2:

Consultancy Services to review health care financing strategy focusing on health financing functions

Collaboration with : World Health Organization (WHO), Bangladesh

Position: Consultant

Major Tasks:

  • Perform situation analysis on health financing functions in implementing health care financing strategy
  • Identify the challenges and gaps in resource mobilization, resource pooling and purchasing
  • Facilitate key informant interviews and technical consultations among key stakeholders, national and international experts
  • Facilitate the technical discussion with the technical review committee, experts and policymakers for validating the key revision areas
  • Provide strategic policy advocacy to the government
  • Provide technical support in organizing webinar related to the review of health care financing strategy
  • Develop assessment reports by identifying the key revision areas with closely working with national and international consultants
  • Contribute to developing a policy note along with national and international consultants

Support to Develop the Costed Investment Plan of the New Health Care Financing Strategy (HCFS)
