Atmospheric Disturbances, Extreme Weather Events | I am engaged in research on Meteorology and various courses on Atmospheric Sciences, my area of interest is Mesoscale Convective phenomena particularly Severe Storms (thunderstorm, tornado, lightning) in Bangladesh. |
|
Climate change and Agroclimatology | Weather and climate extremes such as droughts, floods, and heat waves have a significant impact on agricultural production. I have started exploring interaction between climate change factors and agricultural production. Climatological knowledge is very important for improving the agricultural practices as well as weather prediction and forecasting in dealing with crop harvesting. |
