Project Details

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) has gained attention as a non-invasive therapeutic approach with potential benefits in treating various medical conditions. However, the mechanism of action of PEMF on biological tissues is not well understood. This research project aims to investigate the effect of PEMFs on cell membranes of biological tissues by measuring changes in electrical properties, such as conductivity, permittivity, impedance, and phase angle. The study will focus on understanding the impact of different parameters of PEMFs, including waveform, frequency, pulse width, and pulse height, on the electrical properties of biological tissues.
