Sacred Heart University faculty member, Mahfuja Malik, associate professor of accounting, has attained recognition on Poets&Quants’ list of “Top 50 Undergraduate Professors” for 2021. More than 1,000 nominees vied for a spot on the list.

Malik joined the faculty at SHU’s Jack Welch College of Business & Technology (WCBT) in 2014 as assistant professor of accounting. She is director of the master’s degree program in accounting, in addition to her current faculty position. She earned her bachelor of business administration degree in finance and banking and her MBA in finance from the University of Dhaka in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Additionally, Malik earned a master’s degree in international finance at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, and a doctorate in accounting from Boston University in Boston, MA.
