নবীনবরণ ও শিক্ষা সমাপনী ২০২৫
ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ভাষাবিজ্ঞান বিভাগের উদ্যোগে ৩ নভেম্বর ২০২৫ তারিখে নবীনবরণ ও শিক্ষা সমাপনী ২০২৫ আয়োজিত হয়। অনুষ্ঠানে ২০২৪-২০২৫ শিক্ষাবর্ষের প্রথম বর্ষের শিক্ষার্থীদের বরণ করে নেওয়া হয় এবং ২০২৩-২০২৪ শিক্ষাবর্ষের এমএ শ্রেণির শিক্ষার্থীদের আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে বিদায়-সংবর্ধনা জানানো হয়। অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মাননীয় উপ-উপাচার্য (প্রশাসন) অধ্যাপক ড. সায়মা হক বিদিশা। অনুষ্ঠানের বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন কলা অনুষদের মাননীয় ডিন অধ্যাপক ড. মোহাম্মদ ছিদ্দিকুর রহমান খান এবং আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা ইনস্টিটিউটের পরিচালক অধ্যাপক ড. মুহাম্মদ আসাদুজ্জামান। অনুষ্ঠানের আহবায়ক ছিলেন বিভাগীয় শিক্ষক জনাব মোহাম্মদ ইনজামাম এবং অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতিত্ব করেন বিভাগের চেয়ারপার্সন ড. মনিরা বেগম। অনুষ্ঠানে বিদায়ী শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে মো: জয়নাল আবেদীন এবং সোহানুজ্জামান আনসারী শ্রেষ্ঠ শ্রেণি প্রতিনিধি নির্বাচিত হন এবং তাদের ক্রেস্ট ও সার্টিফিকেট দিয়ে পুরষ্কৃত করা হয়। এছাড়া সহশিক্ষা কার্যক্রমে বিশেষ অবদানের জন্য নিশাত তাসনীম দিশা (শ্রেণি রোল : ১৪৭১)-কে ক্রেস্ট ও সার্টিফিকেট দিয়ে সম্মাননা জানানো হয়। অনুষ্ঠানে ভাষাবিজ্ঞান বিভাগের সকল শিক্ষার্থী ও শিক্ষকবৃন্দ উপস্থিত ছিলেন। অনুষ্ঠানের দ্বিতীয় পর্বে বিভাগীয় শিক্ষার্থীদের অংশগ্রহণে এক মনোজ্ঞ সাংস্কৃতিক সন্ধ্যা আয়োজিত হয়।
The Department of Linguistics, University of Dhaka, organised the Freshers’ Reception and Graduation Ceremony 2025 on 3 November 2025. The event warmly welcomed the newly admitted students of the academic session 2024–2025 and formally bid farewell to the graduating students of the M.A. class of 2023–2024. The ceremony was graced by Professor Dr Saima Haque Bidisha, Honourable Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) of the University of Dhaka, as the Chief Guest. The Special Guests included Professor Dr Mohammad Siddiqur Rahman Khan, Honourable Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and Professor Dr Muhammad Asaduzzaman, Director of the International Mother Language Institute. The event was convened by Mohammad Inzamam, faculty member of the department, and chaired by Dr Monira Begam, Chairperson of the Department of Linguistics.Among the graduating students, Md. Zainal Abedin and Sohanuzzaman Ansari were honoured with the Best Class Representative Award, each receiving a crest and certificate of recognition. In addition, Nishat Tasnim Disha (Class Roll: 1471) was awarded a crest and certificate for her outstanding contribution to co-curricular activities. The ceremony was attended by all faculty members and students of the Department of Linguistics. The event concluded with a delightful cultural evening, featuring performances by the department’s students.
