Department of Linguistics Celebrates the Success of the Intra-Department Football Tournament 2025
The Department of Linguistics is thrilled to announce the successful completion of the “Intra-Department Football Tournament 2025”, held on 28th August 2025 at Jasim Uddin Hall Field, University of Dhaka. This event has become an annual tradition of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and friendly competition among students.
Special thanks go to our Chairman, Dr. Monira Begam, Co-curricular Activities Convener, Dr. Mashrur Imtiaz, Student Advisors, Sabiha Al Humaiara Momy and Mohammad Inzamam, and Respected Faculty Member, Dr. Sikder Monoare Murshed, for their guidance and support throughout the day-long sessions.
The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 66 players across 6 batches.

Runners-up: 1st year
The spectators enjoyed an inclusive environment that brought together faculty and students beyond academic boundaries.
The day concluded with a special awards ceremony where the winners were honored with medals and trophies.
