The 25th batch of the Department of Management, University of Dhaka organized and attended a business presentation session on the “Big 100 Business Tools developed by Jeremy Kourdi” as a requirement of the Strategic Management course. 22 groups presented these business tools. It was an initiative to orient the students with the most common tools and techniques used in businesses. These tools are not only insightful but also essential to learn to encounter real-life situations. These tools have been analyzed in real-life business contexts and using the example of Bangladeshi and International organizations. Some of the important tools are Kotter's Eight Stage Process for Leading Change, SWOT Analysis, The 7S Model, Blue Ocean Strategy, Six Sigma, Kaizen, BCG Matrix, Deep Dive Prototyping, Hofstede's Cultural Dimensions etc. The presentation brings a lot of excitement to the students which will be an inspiration for their creative business thinking.
