Professor Dr. Md. Shafiqul Islam awarded Fulbright Fellowship for nuclear energy investment study at MIT
Professor Dr. Md. Shafiqul Islam has been awarded a highly prestigious Fulbright Fellowship for a nine-month from 1 October 2022 to 30 June 2023 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) under the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Exchange Program administered by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Professor Islam will study and develop economic and analytical models for estimation of investment tradeoffs between large and small nuclear reactors projects in the context of the nuclear energy program.
