On February 27, 2023, Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka successfully held a wonderful "Chinese Tea Art " culture activity. Around 60 students and teachers of the Confucius Institute got together to learn about Chinese tea culture, experienced the fun of tea making and drinking, and feel the rich connotation and unique charm of Chinese tea culture.
During the event, Ms. Nilu Akter, a local Chinese language teacher of CI at DU introduced tea sets, brewing steps and etiquette of Chinese tea through PPT and live demonstrations. She focused on the serving and appreciation etiquette of Chinese tea culture.
She introduced the primary tea wares and explained their characteristics and uses.Moreover, during the demonstration, she explained the basic steps of tea brewing such as saluting, warming the tea set, washing tea leaves, brewing, serving and tasting tea etc. She also demonstrated and explained the four etiquettes of serving tea and the three etiquettes of appreciation tea and their cultural connotations. The students listened carefully, observed the teacher's hand movements, and practiced under the teacher's guidance during the event.
Through the activity, the students not only tasted the fragrance of Pu'er tea but also learned about the unique tea-drinking culture of Chinese people. They also understood the Chinese way of tea hospitality.
2023年2月27日下午,达卡大学孔子学院成功举办了一场精彩的“中国茶艺”文化体验活动。在茶香飘溢的课堂上,孔院师生约60人一同学习和了解中国茶艺文化,体验沏茶饮茶的乐趣,感受中国茶文化的丰富内涵和独特魅力。
活动中,本土教师妮鲁通过PPT和现场演示介绍了茶具、沏茶、赏茶、闻茶、品茶和中国茶礼仪等内容,并重点介绍了奉茶礼仪和谢茶礼仪。她向大家介绍了常见的中国茶艺工具,如盖碗、公道杯、品茗杯、茶荷、茶海、茶刀和茶壶等,并讲解了它们的特点和用途。
接下来,她一边优雅娴熟地演示,一边为大家讲解行礼、温杯、洗茶、冲泡、摇香、分杯、奉茶、品茶等步骤。她特别示范和讲解了奉茶的四种礼仪和谢茶的三种礼仪及其背后的文化内涵。同学们认真聆听老师的讲解,观察老师的动作,并在老师的指导下反复练习。
此次茶艺文化体验活动,同学们不仅品尝到了茶香浓厚的普洱茶,还通过活动了解了中国人独特的饮茶习俗,感受到了中国以茶待客、长幼有序、“和敬怡真”的茶文化。
