The 22nd Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students Preliminary Round in Bangladesh, this pre-selection Competition organized by Confucius Institution at University of Dhaka

The Chinese Bridge competition serves as a significant platform for students worldwide to learn Chinese and gain a better insight into China, fostering mutual understanding among various cultures globally. The 22nd Chinese Bridge - Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students Bangladesh preliminary round will be held in June 2023.
In order to select the outstanding contestants to represent the Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka to participate the preliminary round of the 22nd Chinese Bridge Competition in Bangladesh, the Confucius Institute at DU will hold a pre-selection competition on May 7, 2023. This pre-selection competition aims to identify the best candidates to represent the institute, and we warmly welcome you all to sign up and participate in this event.

I Entry requirements for contestants:
This competition is open to college-level students between the ages of 18 to 30 who hold valid Bangladeshi nationality and whose native language is not Chinese.

II Competition Procedure and Content
The preliminaries will comprise three components: a written test, a speech, and a talent show. The written test will evaluate participants' proficiency in the Chinese language, as well as their knowledge of China's national conditions. After successful registration, contestants will obtain the question bank to prepare in advance. The speech component requires participants to give a one-minute self-introduction in Chinese. Finally, the talent show must be related to Chinese culture and should not exceed four minutes in length, in any form or format.

IV Registration Process
Students who are interested in participating in the pre-selection competition should contact the teachers of Confucius Institute at DU directly to register.

V Results of the Preliminary round
Six candidates will be selected from this round. The top three candidates will be selected to represent the Confucius Institute at DU to participate in the Bangladesh preliminary round competition to be held in June 2023.

“汉语桥”比赛是各国学生学习汉语、了解中国的重要平台，也是增进世界各民族文化之间相互了解的重要桥梁。2023年6月，第22届“汉语桥” 世界大学生中文比赛孟加拉国赛区预选赛将在达卡举行，这将是自2020年以来孟加拉国的首次线下预选赛。为选拔优秀选手代表达卡大学孔子学院参加本届比赛，达卡大学孔子学院将于2023年5月7日举行选拔赛，欢迎大家踊跃报名参加！

1、 参赛对象
年龄18岁至30岁、具有孟加拉国国籍、母语为非汉语的孟加拉国高校在校生。

2、 赛制及内容
选拔赛包括笔试、演讲、才艺展示三个环节。笔试考察汉语语言能力及中国国情知识，选手可在报名成功后获取题库，提前学习准备；演讲时长为1分钟，内容为中文自我介绍；才艺展示在4分钟以内，内容与中国文化有关，形式不限。

时间：2023 年 5 月 7 日
地点：达卡大学孔子学院（艺术楼5楼）
