2月16日,恰逢中国农历除夕,达卡大学孔子学院本土教师妮鲁应邀参加孟加拉国电视台RTV《聚焦中国》(CHINA FOCUS)节目,分享春节文化及中孟文化交流见解,并讲述了自己在中国过年的亲身经历。

节目中,妮鲁回忆留学期间首次在中国过春节的难忘体验:与同学们包饺子、放鞭炮、贴对联、写“福”字、收红包,并共同观看春晚。她还介绍了达卡大学孔子学院如何通过剪纸、书法、写“福”字等文化活动,帮助学生体验并感知中华文化。
妮鲁表示,深入理解文化内涵有助于语言学习。她在节目中介绍了红灯笼和鞭炮背后的传说及节庆寓意,并指出中孟两国在节日期间都有团圆相聚、互赠礼物、以热闹的声响表达喜悦等相似传统,体现两国人民对幸福生活的共同追求。
她认为,节日文化的共通性不断拉近两国人民的情感距离。她还观察到,近年来春节正吸引越来越多孟加拉国年轻人的关注,期待未来开展更多双向文化交流活动。
此次妮鲁参与节目,展现了孔子学院本土教师的良好风采,也是中孟人文交流深入发展的生动体现。

On February 16, the eve of Chinese New Year, Ms Nilu Akter, a Chinese language teacher from Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka (CIDU), appeared on RTV's "CHINA FOCUS" to share her Spring Festival experiences.
In the program, Nilu recalled her unforgettable experience of celebrating the Spring Festival in China for the first time during her studies abroad: making dumplings, setting off firecrackers, pasting couplets, writing the character "Fu" (blessing), receiving red envelopes, and watching the Spring Festival Gala with her classmates.
She explained the legends behind red lanterns and firecrackers as well as their festive meanings, and pointed out that both China and Bangladesh share similar traditions during festivals, such as family reunions and gift-giving, reflecting the common pursuit of a happy life by the people of both countries.
Nilu stated that a deep understanding of cultural connotations is conducive to language learning. She introduced how the CIDU helps students experience and perceive Chinese culture through cultural activities such as paper-cutting, calligraphy, and writing the character "Fu."
She observed that Spring Festival is gaining popularity among Bangladeshi youth and expressed optimism for continued cultural exchanges.
Her appearance showcased the contribution of a local Chinese teacher of the Confucius Institute and reflected the growing cultural ties between China and Bangladesh.
