达卡孔院中方院长应邀参加“孟中关系未来”线上研讨会
2026年7月25日晚，达卡大学孔子学院中方院长杨惠博士应邀参加了由孟中校友会（ABCA）主办的“孟中关系未来：总理访华成果与启示”线上研讨会，并作为指定发言人之一发表演讲。
本次研讨会由ABCA秘书长、沙赫贾拉尔科技大学政治学系教授Md. Shahabul Haque博士主持，ABCA联合秘书Md Abu Kausar Shapon博士致欢迎辞，沙赫贾拉尔科技大学政治学系主任Md Nazrul Islam教授作主旨发言，贾汉吉尔纳加尔大学校长Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan教授作为主要嘉宾致辞。其他发言人还有南北大学和平研究中心主任M. Jashim Uddin教授，达卡大学前社会科学学院院长、人口学系前主任、ABCA副主席M. Mainul Islam教授作总结致辞。
杨惠院长在发言中重点介绍了今年6月孟加拉国总理塔里克·拉赫曼访华期间，两国教育部签署的汉语教育合作协议。她指出，这是中孟首次在政府层面就孟加拉国中文教育发展达成正式承诺，将为当地汉语教学、师资培养、教材开发及“中文+职业技能”项目提供制度性保障。
杨惠院长表示，达卡孔院将继续发挥桥梁作用，推动本土化汉语教材编写、本土师资培训，并配合中孟有关各方探索适合孟加拉国的汉语教育推广模式。
她强调，中文教育不仅是语言教学，更是增进中孟民心相通、共建中孟命运共同体的重要桥梁。达卡孔院将持续致力于让中文教育在孟加拉国“可及、实用、有效”，助力两国人文交流与务实合作。
研讨会围绕双边经贸、基建、科技、人文等议题展开深入讨论，为新时期中孟关系发展提供了多元视角。
Chinese Director of DU Confucius Institute, Invited to Webinar on The Future of Bangladesh–China Relations
On the evening of July 25, 2026, Dr. Yang Hui, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Dhaka, was invited as a designated speaker at the online webinar titled "The Future of Bangladesh–China Relations: Insights from the Prime Minister's China Visit," organized by the Association of Bangladesh-China Alumni (ABCA).
The webinar was moderated by Prof. Dr. Md. Shahabul Haque, General Secretary of ABCA and Professor in the Department of Political Studies at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. Welcome remarks were delivered by Dr. Md Abu Kausar Shapon, Joint Secretary of ABCA and Long Life Hospital Ltd. The keynote speech was given by Prof. Dr. Md Nazrul Islam, Chairman of the Department of Political Studies at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan, Vice-Chancellor of Jahangirnagar University, graced the event as Chief Guest. Other speakers included Prof. Dr. M. Jashim Uddin, Director of the Centre for Peace Studies at North South University. Concluding remarks and a vote of thanks were delivered by Prof. Dr. M. Mainul Islam, former Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and former Chairman of the Department of Population Sciences at the University of Dhaka, and Vice-President of ABCA.
In her speech, Dr. Yang highlighted the agreement on Chinese language education cooperation signed between the two countries' education ministries during Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's visit to China in June this year. She pointed out that this is the first government-to-government commitment to formally develop Chinese language education in Bangladesh, providing an institutional framework for local Chinese teaching, teacher training, textbook development, and "Chinese + vocational skills" programs.
Dr. Yang emphasized that the Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka will continue to serve as a bridge, while cooperating with relevant parties from both China and Bangladesh to explore suitable models for promoting Chinese language education in Bangladesh.
She stressed that Chinese language education is not merely language instruction, but an important pathway to building a China-Bangladesh community with a shared future. The Confucius Institute remains committed to making Chinese language education "accessible, practical, and effective" in Bangladesh, contributing to people-to-people exchanges and practical cooperation between the two countries.
The webinar featured in-depth discussions on bilateral trade, infrastructure, technology, and cultural exchange, offering diverse perspectives for the development of Bangladesh-China relations in the new era.
