Dr. Shah Kawthar Mustafa Abululayee, Professor and Chairman of the Department of Philosophy, University of Dhaka, attended as the chief guest and shared his reflections on global academic trends. Dr. Shafi Md. Mostofa, Associate Professor in the Department of World Religions and Culture, served as the discussant, noting that the ability to problematize any issue is fundamental to becoming a researcher. He further remarked that pursuing higher studies is like navigating an ocean—students must invest time in finding the right academic fit, and publishing plays a crucial role in that journey. As he put it, “Either publish or perish.” The seminar was chaired by Professor Dr. Md. Abu Sayem, Chairman of the Department of World Religions and Culture, and moderated by Dr. Didarul Islam, Assistant Professor in the same department. The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session, allowing students to interact directly with the speakers and explore opportunities for academic advancement abroad.
