(d) Urban and Rural Community Studies: Study of different dimensions of the communities living in the urban and rural settings, focusing on their poverty, development, living conditions, community-based initiatives, etc. (e) Demography: Focusing on the demographic aspects of a country - fertility, morbidity, mortality, demographic dividend, population pressure, migration, etc. (f) Education Research: Critical analysis of the education system, curriculum development, mother tongue-based education, education for community development, etc. (g) Human Rights and Development Studies: Basic human rights, gender-based rights, rights of the marginalized people, local-national-global frameworks, etc. (h) Climate Change Resilience Studies: Climate change factors, climate-weather discourse, politics of climate change, community-based adaptation and resilience initiatives, gender dimensions of climate change, climate change impact analysis, etc. (i) Business, society, and culture: Anthropological engagement in understanding and analyzing the cultural and behavioral aspects of business, decision-making models, and human behavior. (j) Public Policy: Policy issues, policy-making processes, public-government-state mechanisms. |
