Academic teaching, research and practice of applied psychologies | I will also consider getting a high impact teaching, research cum practice development position in basic as well as multi-disciplinary and within the multi-sub-specialty applied psychology areas, to achieve and expanding myself in one or more of the following areas of academic/ professional excellence: 1. Cognitive Science and Cognitive Psychology, Psychology of Emotion, Clinical - Psychology; Psychotherapy with special emphasis on CBT (Cognitive Behaviour therapy) play and music therapy, drama therapy, art therapy, couple/family therapy, sex therapy, group therapy, EMDR therapy, hypnotherapy, client centred therapy, existential therapy, and integrated psychotherapy, incorporating cross-cultural psychology and transcultural/ transnational mental health). 2. Developmental psychology, cognitive development, developmental psychopathology, history of psychology, theories in child and adolescent development, theories of developmental psychopathology within culture and across cultures, theoretical and philosophical issues in psychology and mental health in general., 3. Qualitative and quantitative research methods in child development and clinical psychology, logic of research design, multivariate statistics in psychology and behavioural research, adaptation and validation of clinical and psychometric assessment tools and technologies in a specific cultural context. Also conduction of original and advanced research on a specific clinical population, e.g., on Sleep Disorders and CFS (Chronic fatigue Syndrome). 4. Facilitating the growth of other major areas of applied psychologies anywhere in the world, for example, early childhood development, family psychology, community psychology, community mental health, clinical neuro-psychology &criminal psychology (forensic psychology), organizational/management psychology, disaster psychology, sports psychology, applied cognitive sciences, applied social psychology, from national/ cultural psychology to cross-national/ cross-cultural and global psychology. 5. Understanding Asian mind through Asian psychology, and developing an appropriate psychotherapeutic model suitable for Asian mind. Understanding African mind, and developing appropriate psychotherapeutic intervention models suitable for healing the distress experienced by the African mind. Also, understanding European mind, and developing appropriate psychotherapeutic intervention models suitable for healing the distress experienced by the European mind. Incorporating Asian and African Psychology with American, European and Australian psychology to create an outline/ framework for global psychology. 6. Theoretical and philosophical psychology, with special focus on understanding normal development, abnormal development or psychopathology, and psychotherapeutic process of healing, within a culture, and between cultures 7. Generating theories, models, tools and technologies for practicing internet based psychological assessment and interventions (e.g., eCBT) and other areas of psychological consultation, including distance learning (e-psychology), in the local and global market of all applied psychologies. | |
Executive Strategic Management | I will also consider to get a position to fulfil my current special Interests in Academic Strategic Executive Management of Educational, Health and Social Service Development Institutions, with special focus on healthy self and group development; and thus promoting master strategic ideas and helping developing academic/ professional institutions to offer best possible social services, through its programme planning and management, execution of best possible policy and procedure to ensure healthy self and groups as product of good organizational/community experiences and ensuring effective learning process of change and development culture, impacting positively on the greater societies and states. |
