Rozalina Shayma is a Lecturer of German Language at the Institute of Modern Languages, University of Dhaka, bringing nearly five years of experience as a German Language Teacher at Goethe-Institut Bangladesh. She holds a B.S.S. and M.S.S. in International Relations from the University of Dhaka and a second master's in German Literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi. Her dedication to the German language is further demonstrated by her completion of the C2 level, the highest proficiency tier of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Her language training began at IML, University of Dhaka, and continued through various German courses in several German cities and Delhi, India. She has received multiple scholarships from the Goethe-Institut to participate in professional development seminars and training on the methodology and didactics of German as a foreign language in Germany and other South Asian countries. Rozalina's research interests include the methodology and didactics of foreign language teaching and literary interpretation. In addition to her teaching, she is a passionate translator, specializing in literary texts and poems between German and Bangla.
