ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ভাষাবিজ্ঞান বিভাগের উদ্যোগে আয়োজিত গত ২৬ ফেব্রুয়ারি, ২০২৫ ইং তারিখে নবাব নওয়াব আলী চৌধুরী সিনেট ভবন অডিটোরিয়ামে ঢাকা ইউনিভার্সিটি লিঙ্গুইস্টিকস কনফারেন্স (ডিইউএলসি) ২০২৫ কনফারেন্সে গবেষণা প্রবন্ধ উপস্থাপনের পাশাপাশি অন্যতম প্রধান আকর্ষণ ছিল পোস্টার প্রেজেন্টেশন, যেখানে তরুণ গবেষকরা তাঁদের গবেষণা পদ্ধতি, ফলাফল এবং ভাষাবিজ্ঞান গবেষণায় ডিজিটাল প্রযুক্তির ব্যবহার সম্পর্কে নতুন নতুন ধারণা উপস্থাপন করেন। কনফারেন্সের পোস্টার প্রেজেন্টেশন সেশনে মোট ১২টি পোস্টার উপস্থাপিত হয়। এ প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশগ্রহণকারীরা ভাষাবিজ্ঞান বিষয়ক তাঁদের গবেষণা ও সৃজনশীল ধারণা উপস্থাপন করেন, যা বিচারকগণ মূল্যায়ণ করেন। প্রতিযোগিতায় প্রথম স্থান অর্জন করেছে ভাষাবিজ্ঞান বিভাগের সুলতানা সুমী, সুলতানা আক্তার আখিঁ ও তন্ময় চাকমার দল, দ্বিতীয় স্থান অর্জন করেছে ফজলে এলাহী আকবর, এবং তৃতীয় স্থান অর্জন করেছে উম্মে হুজাইফা আক্তার ও মোছা. সজনী আক্তার সুইটি। উদ্ভাবনী দক্ষতার ভাষাবিজ্ঞানে স্বীকৃতিস্বরূপ বিজয়ীদের নগদ পুরস্কার ও সনদপত্র প্রদান করা হয়। ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ভাষাবিজ্ঞান বিভাগ এ বছরের কনফারেন্সে অংশগ্রহণকারী সকল পোস্টার উপস্থাপনকারীর প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করছে। তাঁদের গবেষণা কেবল এ কনফারেন্সকে সমৃদ্ধ করেনি, বরং ভাষাবিজ্ঞানের সাথে ডিজিটাল হিউম্যানিটিজের সমন্বয়ের মধ্য দিয়ে ভাষা গবেষণার সাম্প্রতিক চ্যালেঞ্জ ও সম্ভাবনাগুলো অন্বেষণের নতুন দিক উম্মোচন করেছে। (The Dhaka University Linguistics Conference (DULC) 2025, organized by the Department of Linguistics, on February 26, 2025, at the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban Auditorium, one of the main attractions of this conference, alongside the presentation of research papers, was the poster presentation session where young researchers presented their research methods, results, and new ideas related to the use of digital technology in linguistics research. The competition provided a platform for participants to present their research and innovative ideas in linguistics, which were evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges. A total of 12 posters were presented in the poster presentation session. After rigorous evaluation, the group of Sulthana Sume, Sultana Akter Akhi, Tanmoy Chakma secured first place, Fazle Elahi Akbar came in second, and the group of Umma Hujaifa Akter, Most. Sojoni Akter sweety took third place. In recognition of their achievements, the winners were awarded prize money and certificates as a token of appreciation for their outstanding contributions to linguistic research. The Department of Linguistics wants to thank all poster presenters for their valuable contributions to this year’s conference. Their work not only enriched the event but also illuminated the transformative potential of combining linguistics with digital humanities to address contemporary challenges and opportunities in language research.)
