Workshop for DU Teachers held
Excellence in Teaching-Learning (ETL), Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), University of Dhaka organized a workshop amongst the teachers on “Outcome Based Education (OBE) Curriculum Development” at Conference Room of IQAC-DU on the 19th September, 2022.
Professor Dr. Sabita Rezwana Rahman (Director) presided over the Workshop and spoke on “The evolution of Curriculum Development- OBE model preparing for the future higher education” in her welcome speech. Professor Dr. A.T.M. Shamsuzzoha (Additional Director, ETL, IQAC-DU) anchored the noted workshop and spoke on “Importance of OBE in Curriculum Development”. Professor Dr. Syed Shahrier Rahman (Additional Director, QA, IQAC-DU) spoke on “Outcome Based Education (OBE) Curriculum” in the session also.
It may be mentioned that According to the direction of UGC and approved by DU Syndicate Centre of Excellence in Teaching & Learning (CoETL) starting as the Excellence in Teaching-Learning (ETL), IQAC, University of Dhaka organized a workshop on “Outcome Based Education (OBE) Curriculum” for the first time. It also be mentioned that ETL, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) will organize series of workshops, special Talks successfully throughout the year on a regular basis for the faculty (teachers) and officers of the University of Dhaka for achieving Quality Higher Education.
