Peking University Delegation Visits University of Dhaka 北京大学代表团访问达卡大学
2025年8月11日，由北京大学副校长宁琦率领的11人代表团访问孟加拉国达卡大学。代表团成员包括外国语学院师生代表。此行重点是与达卡大学各领域专家、学者围绕"数智时代的高等教育与‘一带一路’合作：北京大学-达卡大学对话"主题展开学术研讨。代表团还参访了达卡大学孔子学院及中国研究中心。
研讨会由达卡大学副校长马孟教授（Prof. Dr. Mamun Ahmed）主持，宁琦副校长致开幕辞。北京大学南亚研究中心常务副主任王旭副教授发表题为《以人民为中心的经济发展：中国经验对孟加拉国的启示》的演讲，外国语学院吴杰伟教授则探讨《孟加拉国与越南、菲律宾的劳动力优势比较》。演讲结束后，中孟学者就相关议题进行了深入交流。
会后，达卡大学校长尼亚兹教授（Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan）会见了代表团一行，该校副校长碧蒂莎教授（Prof. Dr. Sayma Haque Bidisha）、财务官（Prof. Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury）、注册官（Mr. Munshi Shams Uddin Ahmed）及相关院系负责人参与会谈。
此次访问深化了两校在人文交流与学术合作领域的共识，为推进中孟高等教育数字化与"一带一路"框架下的协同发展注入新动力。
On August 11, 2025, an 11-member delegation led by Ning Qi, Vice President of Peking University, visited the University of Dhaka in Bangladesh. The delegation included faculty and student representatives from the School of Foreign Languages, Peking University. The visit focused on academic discussions with faculties from the University of Dhaka under the theme " Higher Education and BRI Cooperation in the Digital-Intelligence Era: Peking University-Dhaka University Dialogue " The delegation also visited the Confucius Institute and the Center for China Studies at the University of Dhaka.
The seminar was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mamun Ahmed, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University of Dhaka, with Vice President Prof. Dr. Ning Qi delivering the opening remarks. Associate Professor Wang Xu, Executive Deputy Director of the Center for South Asian Studies at Peking University, presented a speech titled People-Centered Economic Development: Lessons from China for Bangladesh, while Professor Wu Jiewei from the School of Foreign Languages explored A Comparative Analysis of Labor Advantages Among Bangladesh, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Following the presentations, scholars from China and Bangladesh engaged in in-depth discussions on related topics.
After the seminar, Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, Vice Chancellor of the University of Dhaka, met with the delegation. Also present were Prof. Dr. Mamun Ahmed and Prof. Dr. Sayma Haque Bidisha, Pro-Vice Chancellors; Prof. Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Treasurer; Mr. Munshi Shams Uddin Ahmed, Registrar; and heads of relevant departments.
