The Department of English, University of Dhaka, 1950/51 estimated. Sitting in the chairs are teachers of the department: In the Centre A.G. Stock, next to her right (in the photo) John Turnham of British Council. On the far left just joined Zillur Rahman Siddique, and nest to him Sarwar Murshid. On the far right Ali Ahsan and next to him (left) is Jyotirmay Guhathakurta.
