International Relations: UiTM Perak Branch and ISBI Bandung MoU Signing Ceremony in Dhaka, Bangladesh
On November 1, 2023 to November 6, 2023, delegation from Mara Technology University Perak Branch and the Cultural Institute (ISBI) Bandung visited University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The objective of this program is to sign MOUs and discuss collaborative activities and establish relationships with various countries.
The MOU signing ceremony was completed by Prof. Dr. Akhtaruzzaman (Vice Chancellor of University of Dhaka), Associate Prof. Dr. Nur Hisham Ibrahim (Rector of UiTM Perak, Malaysia), and Dr. Supriatna (Deputy Rector of ISBI Bandung, Indonesia). The MOU signing ceremony began with a welcome speech by representatives from Malaysia and Indonesia. Next, the welcome and opening speech delivered by Prof. Dr. Dr. Akhtaruzzaman.
In his speech, the Vice-Chancellor of University of Dhaka sincerely hopes that with the interweaving of the relationship between these three countries, various joint activities can be carried out actively and with high impact. Among them are collaboration activities in education methods, community service, student activities and so on. In the afternoon session, team teaching activities were conducted with students from Dhaka University. A lot of knowledge and experience, especially in the field of character design, is shared in this 2-hour program.
With the ongoing signing of the MOU between UiTM Perak, Dhaka University and ISBI, it is hoped that various activities and programs can be carried out in the future and further strengthen the relationship between Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Indonesia in general. In addition, various activities that have a high impact especially on the community can be carried out better.
