Dhaka International Conference on Fine Art (DICOFA)
A total of eight representatives from MARA University of Technology Perak Branch have been involved in the 'Dhaka International Conference on Fine Art (DICOFA)' program which took place at Osman Jamal Auditorium, Dhaka University on November 5, 2023. Among the Malaysian participants who has been invited as the main speaker (keynote speaker) is Prof. Associate Dr. Nur Hisham Ibrahim, Prof. Assoc. Ts. Dr. Norhayati Baharun, Prof. Associate Dr. Muhammad Abdul Aziz Ab Gani, Sr. Dr. Irwan Mohammad Ali, Dr. Aznan Omar, Dr. Mohd Khairulnizam Ramlie, Muh Sarip bin Abd Rahman, Ashraf bin Abdul Rahaman. While the representative from Bangladesh is Dr. Sima Islam, Dr. Sidhartha Dey, and Mohammad Ferdous Khan Shawon
The sharing and presentation sessions are focused on research that has been carried out in the field of art such as studies in fine art, graphics, printing, branding, the use of technology in the Education system and so on. The main objective of this knowledge sharing session is to exchange information and give exposure to students and teaching staff about the importance of using technology tools in Education in addition to helping in the daily life of the community. In addition, through this sharing and discussion session as well, Educationists and researchers can exchange views in terms of working methods, experience producing artworks and the marketability of students from different countries. Many new things can be gained through diverse work experience and culture.
This conference can also open the minds and eyes of each attendee to what is happening in the two countries and share experiences and the best methods that can be done to overcome problems that may be encountered in an educational institution.
