Dr. Rafiqul Islam was Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology,Dhaka University. He is Professor and former Chairman of the Dept of Applied Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, DU. He is Director, Center for Climate Change Study. He was Chairman of the Dept of Nuclear Engineering. Had his graduation in Chemical Engineering from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University with highest CGPA. He had his Ph.D. from Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences in 1985. He was the Winner in Moscow Olympiad of Scientists, visiting Professor in many International renowned Universities. Has 90 publications. He was Ambassador Scientist of Humboldt Foundation.
