From the begining of the hall activities, for lunch and dinner, there were two dining halls at Govinda Chandra Dev Bhavan (North House) and Jyotirmoy Guha Thakurata Bhavan (South House). According to demand of the students, they are now converted to mess and canteen. At present,it has total 4 (four) canteens and 3 (three) Messes including one vegeterian mess. This vegetarian mess was introduced in 2000 at the ground floor of the Hall Student Parliament building in response to the demands of vegetarian students. This mess is unique and will not be found anywhere in the university.
