Mrs. Masuda Yasmeen
Warm greetings from the Department of Economics, one of the oldest disciplines at the University of Dhaka. Today, she has reached the impressive age of 102, and we couldn't be prouder. Our presence in this region has resulted in significant positive contributions to the historical events that have taken place here. Every day, we are working hard towards our mission and steadily making progress towards our goals.
The Department continues to produce capable human resources to serve public, private, and international establishments, including the University. The renowned English scientist Sir Isaac Newton once famously said, “If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.” Even after hundreds of years, his words remain very relevant to this department. We are fortunate to have so many great individuals in this department who have made significant contributions not only to our nation but also to the world.
This year marks the start of my 32nd year of teaching in this department. I just want to express how happy and excited I am by this opportunity. Welcome to our website!
