In order to promote the development of Chinese language education in Bangladesh, exchange and improve the teaching skills of Chinese teachers in Bangladesh, to realize the purpose of the improvement of education quality through competition, the Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka, the Confucius Institute at Noth South University and the Shanto Mariam-Honghe Confucius Classroom are planning to jointly organize the Fourth Forum on Chinese Language Education in Bangladesh & the First Chinese Teaching Skills Competition in Bangladesh on December 7, 2024.

Teachers engaged in Chinese teaching in Bangladesh will be invited to participate in the teaching skills competition, and the Chinese education institutions, Chinese teachers, experts and scholars in the education field will be invited to participate in the forum for experience exchange, mutual learning and exploring cooperation potentials.

Ⅱ Competition Content

1. The competition is divided into two sections namely the Chinese Teachers’ section and the Local Teachers’ section.

2. This competition is individual competition, not team competition.

3. The designated teaching material for the competition is:

  Chinese Teacher section: HSK Standard Course 3

Local Teacher section: HSK Standard Course 2

Ⅲ The Competition Form

The competition will be held as an open class on December 7, 2024, with teaching plan, teaching on site and Q & A.

1. The introduction of teaching plan includes teaching target, teaching objectives, teaching difficulties, teaching methods, teaching steps, etc. (limited to 3 minutes);

2. The class will be a comprehensive Chinese course. Students will be present on site, and the teacher will demonstrate the teaching process. (limited to 12 minutes).

3. During the Q&A session, the judges will ask the contestants two questions, which shall be answered in Chinese. (limited to 5 minutes)

1. There is no charge for this competition.

2. The organizing committee will provide free lunch and dinner for the participants on December 7.

3. The competition organizing committee will reimburse the round-trip transportation expenses for contestants from outside Dhaka and the accommodation expenses in hotels for two nights on December 6th and 7th.

为推动孟加拉国中文教育的发展，促进中文教育人才的培养和交流，提高孟加拉国中文教师的教学技能，以竞赛模式推动教育质量的提升，实现“以赛交流、以赛促学、以赛促教”的目的，让孟加拉国的整体中文教育水平更上一层楼，

达卡大学孔子学院、南北大学孔子学院和山度·玛丽亚姆-红河孔子课堂计划于2024年12月7日共同举办“第四届孟加拉国中文教育论坛暨首届孟加拉国汉语教学技能大赛”。

本届论坛将比赛与教学研讨相结合，诚邀在孟加拉国从事中文教学的教师参加教学技能大赛，并将邀请中文教育机构负责人、中文教师、教育领域从业者、专家、学者参与研讨，相互交流，共商合作，共谋发展。具体安排如下：

二、大赛信息

1.大赛分为两个赛道，分别为中国教师赛道和本土教师赛道。

2.本次大赛为个人赛，不以团队形式参赛。

3.大赛指定教材为：中国教师赛道--《HSK标准教程3》

本土教师赛道--《HSK标准教程2》

三、比赛形式

比赛将以公开课的形式于2024年12月7日进行，内容包括说课、讲课和中文问答。

1.说课内容包括教学对象、教学目标、教学重难点、教学方法、教学步骤等（限时3分钟）；

2.讲课课型为汉语综合课，此环节有学生现场互动，选手需现场演示具体授课过程（限时12分钟）；

3.问答环节由评委老师向参赛选手提问，共两题，选手须用中文回答，问题包含但不限于教学问题、跨文化交际问题等（限时5分钟）。

四、奖项设置

本次比赛分别为中国教师赛道和本土教师赛道各设一等奖1名、二等奖2名、三等奖3名、优秀奖若干名等奖项，并为获奖学生颁发证书、奖牌，发放奖金。

五、其他说明

1.本次大赛不收取任何费用。

2.大赛组委会为参赛选手免费提供12月7日午餐和晚餐。

3.大赛组委会为外地参赛选手报销往返达卡交通费以及12月6日、7日两晚三星级酒店住宿费用。
