Prof. Dr. Raheel Qamar, Chief of Sciences and Technologies Sector of Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan today October 05, 2025 at the latter’s office of the university. He was accompanied by Fahmida Faiza of the same organization.

During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs between DU and ICESCO. They held fruitful discussion about establishment of ‘ICESCO Chair’ at DU.

DU VC Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan stressed the need for networking and partnership with renowned national and international organizations to develop academic and research activities. He thanked ICESCO delegation members for their visit to and keen interest in undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs with DU.
