A two-member team led by Stefan Kohler, Co-chair of the International Recovery Platform (IRP), Denmark called on Dhaka University (DU)           Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique Yesterday October 28, 2015 at the latter’s office of the university. Other team member was Richard Lorenz.

During the meeting they discussed various issues including undertaking joint collaborative research programs by the University of Dhaka and IRP, Denmark. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Arefin Siddique apprised the team members of brief history of Dhaka University as well as various democratic movements in Bangladesh including our Liberation War and Language Movements. Dhaka University played a pioneering role in all those movements, he mentioned.
