Health Economics | Health care financing, resource allocation and budgeting, and economic evaluation. I am particularly interested in research and advocacy in the field of non-communicable disease including tobacco control. I have conducted studies on tobacco taxation, second-hand smoking, smokeless tobacco and tobacco cessation in Bangladesh. I am a member of Bangladesh Tobacco Control Research Network, and Bangladesh Anti-Tobacco Alliance (BATA). I work closely with National Tobacco Control Cell (NTCC) of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of Bangladesh, and play an active role in policy dialogues on tobacco control policies in Bangladesh. |
