Mr. Jahangir Alam is currently working as a lecturer at the Department of Management Information Systems (MIS), Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka. He obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from the same department. Prior to joining the University of Dhaka, he worked as a lecturer in the Department of Business and Technology Management (BTM) at the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), a subsidiary organ of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Before that, he held the position of senior lecturer at the School of Business in Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), where he also worked as an assistant proctor from July 2021 to September 2022.

Mr. Alam has a remarkable academic record, having received several notable awards, including the President Gold Medal presented by the Chancellor of the University of Dhaka, the Dean's Honor Award (BBA), Dean's Merit List Award (BBA), and Dean's Honor Award (MBA) in recognition of his excellent academic performance. He achieved the remarkable distinction of securing the 1st position in both his BBA and MBA degrees. Additionally, his articles have been published in national and international peer-reviewed journals. Mr. Alam's research interests center around MIS, ICT Applications, HRIS, Blockchain, AI, and Supply Chain Information Systems.
