Md. Syful Islam is working as a Lecturer at the Department of Population Sciences, University of Dhaka. Previously, Mr. Islam has worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Population Science at Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University (JKKNIU), Mymensingh, Bangladesh-2224. Before that, he held the position of Lecturer at the same institution. Besides his academic and research roles at JKKNIU, he was also engaged in different administrative roles. Mr. Islam has completed his BSS and MSS degrees from the Department of Population Sciences at the University of Dhaka. He had experience working with different research organizations (Brac Japes P. Grant School of Public Health, Infolady Social Enterprises, ICDDRB, Rammru, University of Dhaka, etc.) and NGOs (Marie Stopes Bangladesh, Engender Health BCO, Help Age International, Grow Partners, etc.). Currently, he has 16 published articles in peer-reviewed international journals. Mr. Islam has joined conferences, conclaves, and leadership programs and presented his research. Besides these, Mr. Islam has experience serving as a young leader in different social and community organizations and activities.
