Hall Union
During the session, DUCSU and Hall Union elections were held. Thus relevant activities were conducted by Provost, House Tutors, Assistant House Tutors and students.
Newspaper Room and Reading Room
There is a Newspaper Reading Room at the ground floor of the south-west block. Currently the Hall is subscribing 11 dailies and 4 weeklies.
There is also three spacious reading room for the students at the south-west side on the ground floor. Approximately 200 students can study there at a time. The reading room provides locker facility.
Annual Sports Competitions
The 30th Annual Sports Competition of the Hall was held on 26 January, 2017 at the University playground.
National and other Days
Special munajat and milad mahfil were organized to mark the 98th birth anniversary and 43th shahadat anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Among others, teachers, students, officers and staff were present on these occasions. These programmes were chaired by the Hall Provost Professor Dr. Zia Rahman.
