Organized by the 26th Batch and held at Dhaka University's Central Field, the event brought together students, alumni, and faculty for a celebration of athletic prowess and the vibrant community spirit of CSEDU.

Tournament Highlights

Teams: Six current student batches (25 to 30) and one Alumni team competed with passion, skill, and determination.

Duration: Matches were held on Fridays and Saturdays over two weeks, building excitement and anticipation as teams vied for a spot in the final showdown.

Group Matches:

Group A: Champion - Batch 25, Runner-up - Batch 29

Group B: Champion - Alumni, Runner-up - Batch 26

Semifinals:

Alumni vs. Batch 29 – Alumni dominated with a score of 7-0, featuring two hat-tricks by Shadman Soumik and Rubel Pasha.

Batch 25 vs. Batch 26 – A thrilling finish with Batch 26 securing a 1-0 victory through Setu Baruri's last-moment goal.

Final Match:

The Alumni team emerged victorious over Batch 26 in a thrilling final, clinching the win with a decisive last-minute goal from Shadman Soumik.

Notable Guests

The final was graced by Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque, Chairman of CSEDU, as Chief Guest, and Mr. Md. Faisal Hossain, General Secretary of the CSEDU Alumni Association, as Special Guest. Both shared inspiring words on the value of community, teamwork, and tradition, celebrating CSEDU’s unity and dedication.

The tournament witnessed impressive displays of talent:

Top Scorer: Shadman Soumik (Alumni) thrilled the crowd with a remarkable 9 goals throughout the tournament, earning him the title of Man of the Tournament for his unmatched goal-scoring prowess.

Notable Goal Scorers: Rubel Pasha (Alumni) with 5 goals, Ariful Islam (Batch 30) with 4 goals, and Mabsur Hossain (Batch 26) with 3 goals also showcased impressive offensive skills

Top Playmaker: Mahmudul Hasan (Alumni) led in assists with a record of 6, demonstrating exceptional vision and playmaking ability.

Standout Defensive Performances: The Alumni team, with Inzamam Toha as goalkeeper, allowed only 1 goal throughout their matches. Batch 26, led by goalkeeper Mhd Mahmud Anik, also showed strong defensive form, conceding just 3 goals over their 5 matches.

Man of the Tournament: Shadman Soumik, for his unmatched goal-scoring prowess.
