An Orientation Program for the BBA 30th batch was arranged by the Department of Management
The Department of Management at the University of Dhaka hosted the Orientation Program for the BBA 30th batch on September 30, 2024, at the Prof. Dr. Abdullah Farouk Conference Hall, Faculty of Business Studies. This event marked the beginning of an academic journey for the new students, welcoming them into the university's prestigious business faculty. The program commenced with the recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a warm welcome speech from the Chairman of the department, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Thoufiqul Islam. The special guest of the event, Prof. Ali Akkas, delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging students to seize the opportunities presented during their academic years. The event continued with speeches from a senior student of the 29th batch and the incoming students of the 30th batch, who shared their excitement and expectations for the journey ahead.
The Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Mahmood Osman Imam, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, also delivered speech whereby he inspired the students with his words of wisdom and outlined the faculty’s vision for academic excellence. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, guidance for the new students, a photo session, and refreshments. This orientation served as a gateway for the new students to embark on their academic journey at the University of Dhaka, filled with opportunities for growth, collaboration, and excellence.
