Notice

This is the MS admission notice of the Department of Theoretical Physics session 2023-2024. The applicants will be selected based on a written admission test and an in-person viva examination. The application for the written admission test needs to be collected from the departmental office, 2nd floor, New Physics Building, Curzon Hall, University of Dhaka, and submitted to the departmental office by 16th February 2025. The written admission test will be held on 23rd February (Sunday), 2025 at 10:00 am at the Department of Theoretical Physics. The syllabus of the written examination includes the following topics: Atomic and Molecular Physics, Classical Mechanics and Special Theory of Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, Thermodynamics and Statistical Mechanics, and Classical Electrodynamics.
