The Department of Women and Gender Studies organized a study circle in association with Bangladesh Mahila Parishad
Department of Women and Gender Studies (DWGS) organized a study circle in association with Bangladesh Mahila Parishad on 24 May 2023 at the department. Bangladesh Mahila Parishad and the department have been organizing this event as a regular activity on a regular basis. Annually, two to three study circles are organized for the students at the department. In this study circles, the students got first hand experience about the feminist organization promoting women's rights and human rights.

Bangladesh Mahila Parishad talked and shared about their trainings, workshops and publications in this study circle. The students also asked theoretical questions and how to strive for achieving gender equality can be prompted. From now on, DWGS and Bangladesh Mahila Parishad are looking forward to organize the study circles quarterly.
