孔院资讯 | 达卡大学孔子学院2021-2022年度理事会顺利召开Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka 2021-2022 Board Meeting was successfully held

On October 29, 2022, Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka 2021-2022 Board Meeting was successfully held virtually. The meeting was attended by the Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University, Prof. Dr. Hu Jinming, Vice President of Yunnan University, as well as directors of the International Cooperation Office and the related faculties of the two universities and Chinese and Bangladeshi Directors of Confucius Institute.

The meeting listened to and approved the 2021-2022 work report, 2023 work plan and 2018-2020 financial report of the Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka by the Chinese and Bangladeshi directors and the financial manager, and focused on the undergraduate joint training program, the strengthening of People-to-People Exchanges and the construction of the China-Bangladesh Research Center, etc., and reached a consensus on the future cooperation focus, the basic principles and methods of project implementation, as well as the time and place of the next board meeting.

At the board meeting, Prof. Hu Jinming, vice president of Yunnan University, and Prof.Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University, on behalf of the two universities, renewed the “Implementation Agreement between University of Dhaka and Yunnan University for the Development of the Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka”. They expressed their full support to the Confucius Institute, and hoped that the Confucius Institute would continue to contribute to the understanding of Chinese language and culture in Bangladesh and the friendship between China and Bangladesh.

2022年10月29日，达卡大学孔子学院2021-2022年度理事会在线上顺利召开。达卡大学校长阿克塔鲁兹曼（Md. Akhtaruzzaman）、云南大学副校长胡金明，以及两校国际合作处、相关学院负责人和孔子学院中孟方院长出席了会议。

达卡大学校长阿克塔鲁兹曼在致辞中表示，此次理事会的召开对于引领孔子学院今后的发展和深化两校的合作具有重要意义。他表示，达卡大学一直以来非常重视孔子学院的工作，通过孔子学院这一平台与云南大学和中国其他高校开展了多种形式的交流与合作。他表示，孔子学院是该校国际合作项目中的重点项目，学校将一如既往地支持孔子学院的工作，并期待两校在语言教学、学术研究、联合培养等方面加强合作，结出更多丰硕成果。

云南大学副校长胡金明表示，在两校共同支持努力下，建设6年来，达卡大学孔子学院稳步发展，成为孟加拉国广受欢迎的中国语言文化学习中心。过去两年多来，尽管因为疫情影响孔子学院的汉语教学和各项工作全面转到线上，但仍然取得了卓有成效的效果，为增进孟加拉国汉语学习者对中国语言文化的了解，促进中孟人文交流和中孟友好做出了积极贡献。他还表示，云南大学将于2023年4月20日迎来她的百年华诞，他诚挚邀请阿克塔鲁兹曼校长届时出席云南大学的百年校庆活动，并期待两所历史悠久、底蕴深厚的百年名校继续携手，深化合作、巩固友谊、再创辉煌。也希望达卡大学孔子学院进一步提升教学能力、增强交流意识、服务当地需求、推动校际合作，更好发挥中孟教育文化友好使者的作用。

会议听取并通过了中孟方院长和财务经理对达卡大学孔子学院2021-2022年工作情况、2023年工作计划和2018-2020年财务报告，并重点讨论了两校汉语专业本科生联合培养、孟语专业本科生联合培养以及加强中孟研究中心建设等项目，对下一步合作重点、项目实施基本原则和方式，以及下一届理事会举办时间和地点达成了共识。
