孔院资讯 | 达卡孔院参与纪念“国际母语日”节目录制Confucius Institute at DU Participated in CMG Bangla Program to Commemorate International Mother Language Day
On February 19, 2023, Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka cooperated with the CMG Bangla and the Bengali Classroom of Padma Bridge Project to record a special session in honor of the upcoming International Mother Language Day. On February 21, CMG Bangla officially broadcast the program. Ms. Nilu Akter, a local Chinese language teacher of Confucius Institute at DU, and three Chinese engineers of the classroom were interviewed in the program and shared their feelings about learning Bangla language and culture.
Ms. Shanta Maria, a senior reporter of CMG Bangla, conducted an interview. Ms. Nilu said in the interview that foreigners generally find it difficult to learn Bangla at the beginning, but the young Chinese engineers in the class are studying hard, persevere in learning and make great progress. She added that in every class, there is a cultural session in which she tries to introduce the history and culture of Bangladesh to students, which can help them to understand the different aspects of Bangladesh and to better communicate with the locals.
The Confucius Institute at the University of Dhaka and the Padma Bridge Project office of MBEC officially launched the "Padma Bilingual International Classroom" on December 3, 2022. Since then, the CI at DU sent a local Chinese language teacher to teach Bengali to the class once a week. By teaching Chinese language to Bangladeshis and teaching Bangla to Chinese people, Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka participated in the efforts to promote the development of language and cultural diversity. And in this way, they are expressing deep respect for the International Mother Language Day.
International Mother Language Day has a great significance in the history of Bangladesh. In Bangladesh. 21 February is the anniversary of the day when the people of Bangladesh fought for recognition for the Bangla language in 1952. It was declared to be the International Mother Language Day by UNESCO in 1999. And from the following year 2000, it has been carried out all over the world.
2023年2月19日，达卡大学孔子学院与中国中央广播电视总台孟加拉语部（CMG Bangla）和中铁大桥局帕德玛大桥项目部合作录制了一期帕德玛大桥孟语课堂的特别节目，以纪念即将到来的国际母语日。2月21日国际母语日当天，CMG孟语部官方媒体正式播出该节目。达卡大学孔子学院本土教师妮鲁（Nilu Akter) 和帕德玛大桥的三名工程师在节目中接受了采访，分享了他们教授孟语和学习孟语的感受。

国际母语日对于孟加拉国来说具有特殊意义，它的设立缘于孟加拉人上世纪50年代初争取母语权利的语言运动。经联合国教科文组织大会通过，自2000年起国际母语日的庆祝活动在全世界范围开展。达卡大学孔子学院与中铁大桥局帕德玛大桥项目部于2022年12月3日正式启动“帕德玛双语国际课堂”项目，并每周六安排本土教师去项目部教授孟加拉语。教孟加拉国人学习汉语，教中国人学习孟语，达卡孔院通过这样的方式参与到推动语言和文化多样性发展的努力中，表达对国际母语日的敬意。
