达卡孔院随使馆代表团赴吉大港多地调研访问The Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka with the delegation of Chinese Embassy to visit Chittagong
On July 12-13, 2023, a delegation led by Counselor Mr. YUE Liwen of the Cultural Section of Chinese Embassy, Second Secretary Ms. LANG, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka Dr. YANG Hui, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute at North South University, representatives of China Communications and Construction Group and Huawei company visited Chittagong for exchange and cooperation purposes.
On July 12, the four-member delegation visited the University of Chittagong and held discussions with Prof. Dr. Shireen Akhter, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Chittagong, the Director of Institute of Modern Languages and the Department of Political Science respectively. They had friendly exchanges on the development of the Chinese teaching site at the University of Chittagong with the help of Confucius Institute at DU and the strengthening of academic exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Bangladeshi universities.On 13 July, the eight-member delegation visited the BAF Shaheen College Chattogram and was warmly welcomed by the school. The delegation was received by the Air Force Base Commander. The delegation visited the campus and teaching facilities, watched the classroom teaching, watched the wonderful performances of the students, and exchanged in-depth views with the principle of the school on the provision of Chinese language teaching, the establishment of friendly sister schools, and building "smart classrooms" etc.
The delegation to Chittagong has produced fruitful exchanges, which will effectively promote the Chinese teaching in Chittagong and help deepen the educational and cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two sides.
2023年7月12-13日，由使馆文化处乐利文参赞带队，文化处二秘郎琅、达卡大学孔子学院中方院长杨惠、南北大学孔子学院中方院长马晓燕、中交建集团和华为公司代表组成的代表团访问吉大港，赴吉大港大学、亚洲女子大学以及空军附属学校等地调研交流。7月12日上午，代表团一行4人访问吉大港大学，与吉大港大学校长、现代语言学院和政治学系分别举行座谈，就达卡大学孔子学院恢复吉大港大学中文教学点和加强中孟高校科研交流合作进行了友好交流。
吉大港大学校长Shireen Akhter教授对使馆代表团一行到来表示热烈欢迎。她再次肯定了吉大港大学与云南大学和达卡大学孔子学院于2021年12月10日举行吉大港大学中文教学点启动仪式的意义，感谢达卡大学孔子学院疫情期间提供线上中文课程，并表示将大力支持中文教育在该校的发展。她还邀请达卡孔院中方院长杨惠现场补签了共建中文教学点的协议。
代表团一行访问了吉大港大学现代语言学院，与该院院长Farzana Yesmen Chowdhury博士以及前院长和教职人员等人举行座谈，了解该院中文教学情况，包括课程性质、学生来源和规模、学习需求、课程计划、师资等情况。通过交流了解到，中文课程在该院还只是语言培训课程，目前只有1名兼职本土老师承担教学任务，学习需求巨大。Farzana院长希望达卡大学孔子学院能尽快向该院派驻中文教师，希望在孔子学院的帮助下进一步推动该院中文教育的发展。
结束现代语言学院的会谈后，代表团一行还访问了吉大港大学政治学系，与该系系主任和教研人员进行座谈，探讨未来开展人员互访和学术交流合作的可能性。当天下午，代表团一行还访问了亚洲女子大学。
7月13日，代表团一行8人访问吉大港空军附属学校（BAF Shaheen College Chattogram），受到校方热烈欢迎。调研学校前，代表团一行拜会吉大港空军基地总指挥官，乐利文参赞代表使馆感谢基地对我与空军吉大港沙欣（Shaheen）学校的合作给予大力支持。在校方精心组织和安排下，代表团一行参观了校园环境和教学设施，观摩了课堂教学，观看了学生们的精彩文艺演出，并与该校执行校长就开设中文课、推动共建友好姊妹学校、建设“智慧教室”等事项深入交换意见。
乐利文参赞在欢迎仪式致辞中表示，中孟两国人民自古以来就是好邻居、好朋友，拥有绵延千年的友好交往历史，近期习近平主席给沁的复信更是赋予了中孟友好新的时代意涵。今天中国使馆的来访也正是为了延续这份友谊，同时更期待未来通过人文与教育交流促进民心相通，继续谱写中孟友好新篇章。该校执行校长在致辞中高度赞赏中孟友好关系。他表示，沁的故事在全校4000余名师生中已经成为中孟友好的一段佳话，并通过媒体广为流传。学校愿与中方进一步开展校际合作，加大教学管理经验分享以及人员互访，并努力传承中孟友谊，培养更多的中孟友好接班人。
此次使馆组织的赴吉大港调研团交流成果丰硕，将有力促进中文教学在吉大港地区的推广，有利于深化双方教育文化交流合作。
