Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka participated in the New Year cultural exchange activities organized by Chinese embassy for a delegation of teachers and students from Sylhet Sofir Uddin High School and College达卡孔院参加使馆组织的锡莱特索菲尔乌丁中学师生代表团新春文化交流活动
On January 18, 2024, six teachers from Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka were invited to attend a Chinese New Year cultural event organized by the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh for the delegation of teachers and students from Sylhet Sofir Uddin High School and College. H.E Ambassador Mr. Yao Wen warmly greeted the delegation, and the teachers from the Confucius Institute at DU prepared a rich cultural experience program for the students and teachers, creating a joyful and harmonious atmosphere. The event was featuring five activities, including wearing traditional Hanfu Costume, pitch-pot game, Chinese painting, paper-cutting, and calligraphy. Students enthusiastically engaged in these interesting and colorful cultural experiences. In the event, the melodic hulusi(a kind of free reed wind instrument）performed by the Confucius Institute Chinese Language teacher Mr. Jin Yu added a musical dimension, enhancing the cultural immersion.
This immersive experience not only deepened the understanding of Chinese culture among the students and teachers of Sylhet Sofir Uddin High School and College but also kindled a heightened interest in Chinese language and culture.
2024年1月18日，达卡大学孔子学院的6名老师受邀请参加驻孟使馆为锡莱特索菲尔乌丁中学师生代表团举办的新春文化活动，姚文大使亲切会见锡莱特索菲尔乌丁中学师生代表团，孔子学院老师为代表团师生们准备了丰富的文化体验活动，一起度过了一段欢乐、祥和的时光。
达卡孔院的老师们为锡莱特索菲尔乌丁中学师生准备了汉服、投壶、国画、剪纸、书法等五项中国春节文化体验活动，与他们亲切互动。中方教师金雨还吹奏了葫芦丝《月光下的凤尾竹》。
精美的汉服深受大家喜爱，大家纷纷前来试穿，感受中国古风之美，并拍照留念。国画体验区，学生们选取自己喜欢的画作，在书签上临摹，竹子、荷花、兰花等体现中国传统绘画别样韵味的画作跃然纸上。投壶区一片热闹景象，投中并非易事，但师生们踊跃参与，乐在其中。
剪纸区，同学们跟着老师认真、耐心地剪刻，感受剪纸艺术带来的乐趣。书法区，在老师的指导下同学们拿起毛笔有模有样地学写汉字。学生们从剪出的一张张“福”字窗花、写出的一个个“春”字中感受到了新春的氛围和祝福。
此次中国文化体验活动内容丰富、形式多样，增进了锡莱特索菲尔乌丁中学师生对中国文化的了解，学生们身着汉服沉浸式体验中国文化，也增加了对中国文化的兴趣，希望他们能够进一步学习和热爱中国语言和文化，未来成为中孟友好的使者。
