Seminar on China-South Asia Relations was Co-organized by the Confucius Institute at Dhaka University and the Department of Political Studies of Shahjala University of Science & Technology达卡大学孔子学院与锡莱特科技大学政治研究系共同举办中国-南亚关系研讨会
On January 20, 2024, the seminar “Studies on China-South Asia Relations: Students' Perspectives” organized by the Department of Political Studies (PSS), Shahjala University of Science & Technology and co-organized by the Confucius Institute at Dhaka University was held at the Chinese Corner of PSS.
More than 60 people, including Prof.Syed Ashrafur Rahman, Chair of the Department, Prof.Dilara Rahman, Prof.Md. Shahabul Haque,Co-ordinator of Chinese Corner, Prof. Zayeda Sharmin, Prof. Md. Nazrul Islam, Dr. Yang Hui, Chinese Director of Confucius Institute at DU, Prof.Zhang Xi, Chinese Director of Santo Mariam - Honghe Confucius Classroom, Chinese teachers, Chinese students from Yunnan University, and teachers and students from the Department of Political Studies, Shahjala University of Science & Technology, attended the seminar.
The protagonists of this seminar were young people from China and Bangladesh. Six undergraduate students from the Department of Political Studies, Shahjala University of Science & Technology and two graduate students from the Institute of International Relations of Yunnan University delivered presentations. They conducted research on current hot issues in South Asia and China-Bangladesh relations, and shared their research findings at the meeting.
Professors and guests commented on the students’ presentations. They expressed their appreciation for the students' confidence and spirit of exploration, and encouraged the students to continue to maintain their deep interest in academic research and enthusiasm for knowledge, study hard and become excellent researchers in the future.
2024年1月20日，由锡莱特科技大学政治研究系主办、达卡大学孔子学院协办的“中国-南亚关系研究：学生的视角”研讨会在锡莱特科技大学政治研究系中国角举办。该校政治研究系主任Syed Ashrafur Rahman、Dilara Rahman教授、Md. Shahabul Haque教授、Zayeda Sharmin教授、Md.Nazrul Islam教授、达卡大学孔子学院中方院长杨惠、山度∙玛利亚姆-红河孔子课堂中方院长张曦、孔子学院中方教师、云南大学研究生和政治研究系师生共60余人参加了此次研讨会。
此次研讨会的主角为中孟两国青年，有6名锡莱特科技大学政治研究系的本科生和2名云南大学国际关系研究院的研究生进行了发言。他们围绕当前南亚国际关系和中孟关系中的热点问题进行研究，并在会上分享他们的研究发现和观点。孟加拉国学生的发言题目包括：“‘一带一路’倡议：美中在孟加拉国的实力角逐”“中孟关系的地区和地缘政治影响”“中国全国人大的结构和功能分析”“中美贸易战和对孟加拉国的影响”“中国在罗兴亚人遣返问题中的角色” “‘一带一路’倡议在孟加拉国发展中的作用”等。中国学生郝凌艺和鲁莲则分别就”中孟关系：以‘一带一路’倡议为例”和“巴基斯坦智库对‘中巴经济走廊’的看法”为题进行发言。
锡莱特科技大学政治研究系的教授对同学们的发言进行了点评。在场的嘉宾和老师纷纷对同学们表现出来的自信、严谨和探索精神表示了赞赏，鼓励同学们继续保持学术研究的深厚兴趣和求知热情，努力学习，成为优秀的研究者。
