2025年9月18日,由达卡大学孔子学院与中国研究中心联合主办的“第六届中孟语言文化交流营”在达卡大学正式启动。本届交流营共有40名学生参与,包括12名达卡大学中国留学生和28名达卡孔院中文学习者。孔子学院中方院长杨惠、中国研究中心孟方主任沙姆萨德·莫图扎教授(Prof. Dr. Shamsad Motuza)及中方执行副主任朱仕诚老师出席了开营仪式。
在开营仪式上,杨惠院长与莫图扎教授分别致辞,对参与学生表示热烈欢迎并进行了积极动员。随后,带队老师和学生代表分别用中文和孟加拉语介绍了本次交流营的具体活动安排。
开营仪式后,在英语系学生阿卜杜拉(Ahmad Saleh Abdullah)的引导下,同学们沿途参观和学习了达卡大学校园及周边诸多地标性建筑或有重要意义的地点。他们经过达卡大学图书馆和民族诗人卡齐·纳兹鲁尔·伊斯兰(Kazi Nazrul Islam)的墓园,随后前往美术学院,深入了解被列入人类非物质文化遗产的年度盛事“Mangal Shobhajatra”游行。之后,师生乘车途经孟加拉学院、独立运动纪念碑(Swadhinata Stambha)、达卡门,抵达具有百年历史的建筑地标——寇松礼堂(Curzon Hall)。此外,同学们还参观了语言运动烈士纪念碑(Central Shaheed Minar),了解孟加拉语言运动及其对孟加拉国独立的深远意义。最后,大家在达卡大学最古老的萨利穆拉穆斯林学生宿舍(Selimullah Muslim Hall)结束了当天的学习之旅。
在参观过程中,学生们积极交流、增进了解、建立友谊。本届交流营将持续三周,下一阶段活动将围绕达卡大学历史与人文景观进行更深入的调研,并展开日常交流。此次活动将进一步促进中孟学生之间的友好互动与文明互鉴,为两国语言文化合作注入新的活力。
On September 18, 2025, the "Sixth China-Bangladesh Language and Culture Exchange Camp," jointly organized by the Confucius Institute and the Center for China Studies, officially commenced at the University of Dhaka. This edition of the exchange camp brings together 40 students, including 12 Chinese students studying at DU and 28 Chinese learners from the Confucius Institute. The opening ceremony was attended by Dr.Yang Hui, the Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute; Professor Dr. Shamsad Motuza, the Bangladeshi Director and Mr. Zhu Shicheng, the Chinese Executive Deputy Director, Center for China Studies.
During the opening ceremony, Dr.Yang Hui and Dr. Shamsad Motuza delivered speeches, extending a warm welcome to the participating students and offering enthusiastic encouragement. Following this, the leading teachers and student representatives introduced the specific activity arrangements for the exchange camp in both Chinese and Bengali.
After the opening ceremony, guided by Ahmad Saleh Abdullah, a student from the Department of English, the participants embarked on a tour to explore and learn about many landmark sites and historically significant locations on and around the University of Dhaka campus. They passed by the University Library and the mausoleum of the National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, then proceeded to the Faculty of Fine Arts to gain an in-depth understanding of the annual "Mangal Shobhajatra" procession, which is inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Subsequently, the teachers and students traveled by bus, passing through Bangla Academy, the Independence Monument, and Dhaka Gate, arriving at the century-old architectural landmark—Curzon Hall. Additionally, the students visited the Central Shaheed Minar, learning about the Bengali Language Movement and its profound significance for Bangladesh's independence. The day’s study tour concluded at the university’s oldest student residence, Salimullah Muslim Hall.
Throughout the tour, the students actively engaged in exchanges, deepening mutual understanding and building friendships. This edition of the exchange camp will last for three weeks, with the next phase focusing on more in-depth research into the history and cultural landscape of the University of Dhaka, along with daily interactions. This event will further promote friendly exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and Bangladeshi students, injecting new vitality into language and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
