Call for Writings — In Memory of Professor Md. Ali Nawab
As part of the Prof. Md. Ali Nawab International Centenary Conference (MANICC 2026), the Department of Chemistry, University of Dhaka, is publishing a Conference Souvenir to celebrate the life and legacy of Professor Md. Ali Nawab (born 1 January 1926), a scientist, educator and visionary who shaped chemistry education in Bangladesh over four decades at the University of Dhaka.
We warmly invite his former students, colleagues, family members, friends and admirers to contribute short writings for the Souvenir. This may be:
1. A personal memory or anecdote of Ali Nawab Sir
2. A reflection on his teaching, mentorship or research
3. A tribute, appreciation or message in his honour
Writings may be in English or Bangla, and should ideally be brief (around 300–800 words). Please include your name, affiliation/relationship to Professor Nawab, and a contact number. A photograph with him, if you have one, is most welcome.
