Rokeya Day: Puja Basak of Department of History of Art felicitated with Begum Rokeya Memorial Award
On the evening of January 29, 2024, 'Rokeya Day-2023' was celebrated at Dhaka University. The 'Rokeya Memorial Foundation lecture, gold medal, and scholarship' program took place in the evening at the 7th March building auditorium of Rokeya Hall. University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. ASM Maqsood Kamal, graced the occasion as the chief guest, awarding gold medals and scholarships to deserving students. Among the honored students was Puja Basak, a meritorious student from the academic session of 2018-2019 in the Department of History of Art, who received a scholarship grant during the event.
The awards and scholarships are given on the basis of good behavior, attendance, and satisfying academic results. The scholarships are granted by the Begum Rokeya Memorial Foundation.
