Successful Conclusion of the Strategy Validation Workshop on Gender, Disaster, and Intersectionality by GRRIPP South Asia
Gender Responsive Resilience and Intersectionality in Policy and Practice (GRRIPP) South Asia successfully organized the 'Strategy Validation Workshop' focusing on the 'Strategic Framework for Gender, Disaster, and Intersectionality in South Asia (2024-30).' The event took place at the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Building, University of Dhaka, on January 17th, 2024.
Experts, stakeholders, and participants from diverse backgrounds attended the workshop to validate the strategic framework developed by GRRIPP South Asia. The workshop collected valuable insights, feedback, and recommendations to refine and strengthen the strategic framework, ensuring its relevance and effectiveness in addressing gender-responsive disaster risk reduction with an intersectional lens. The strategy aimed to promote knowledge and experience through research, field action, advocacy, and academic discourses.
