Former Ambassador
H.E. Mr. Imtiaz Ahmed served as Ambassador of Bangladesh to Germany, the Portuguese Republic, Nepal, and Bhutan. Mr. Imtiaz Ahmed belongs to the 1984 batch of BCS (Foreign Affairs) Cadre. Besides his Ambassadorial appointments in Sweden with concurrent accreditation to Denmark, Finland, Iceland, and Norway, in his distinguished diplomatic career, he also served in Bangladesh Embassies in Rome, Cairo, Kuala Lumpur, and Washington D.C. in various capacities.
