A special seminar titled “The Evolving Geopolitical Landscape in the Middle East: Continuity & Change in Global Power Relations” was held on 9 July 2025 at the University of Dhaka. The event was jointly organized by the Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (CIID) and the Department of World Religions and Culture. Professor Dr. Shahab Enam Khan delivered the keynote address. The session was chaired by Professor Dr. Md. Abu Sayem, the chairman of the department, while Professor Dr. Mohammad Elius, the director of CIID moderated the event. Dr. Shafi Md. Mostafa also served as the esteemed discussant on the occasion, while Dr. Md. Didarul Islam presented the welcome address.
