Confucius Institute at the University of Dhaka Launches First Chinese Class and Signs MoU with Department of International Relations达卡大学孔子学院与国际关系系签署谅解备忘录 中文课程正式开课
2025年10月14日，达卡大学孔子学院与国际关系系在该系举行中文课程开课仪式，并签署开设中文课程的谅解备忘录，标志着中文课程在国际关系系正式开设。当天上午，首堂中文课顺利开讲，来自国际关系系的30余名学生参与课程学习，课堂气氛热烈，学生反响积极。
课程结束后，双方举行了签约仪式。国际关系系主任阿什拉夫教授（Dr. ASM Ali Ashraf）、侯赛因教授（Dr. Delwar Hossain），达卡大学孔子学院中方院长杨惠、孔子学院教师代表以及国际关系系的学生代表出席了活动。
在师生代表和嘉宾的见证下，孔子学院中方院长杨惠与国际关系系主任阿什拉夫正式签署谅解备忘录。阿什拉夫教授在致辞中表示，开设中文课程是推进国际化教学、深化中孟教育合作的重要举措，将有助于学生拓宽国际视野，提升跨文化沟通能力。侯赛因教授指出，随着中国在全球事务中的作用日益突出，学习中文、了解中国已成为孟加拉学生提升综合竞争力的关键一环。
杨惠院长在致辞中对学生们的积极参与表示肯定，并介绍了孔子学院在语言教学、文化推广以及教育交流方面的优势和资源。她表示，今后将与国际关系系在学术研究、师生互访、短期游学等多个领域展开深入合作。
最后，教师代表和学生代表也表达了对中文课程的热切期待，表示将珍惜学习机会，努力掌握中文，为促进中孟人文交流贡献力量。
On October 14, 2025, the Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka officially launched its first Chinese language class for the Department of International Relations. Following the class, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Confucius Institute and the department to formalize the collaboration in Chinese language education.
Nearly 40 participants attended the signing ceremony, including Prof. Dr. ASM Ali Ashraf, Chairman of the Department of International Relations, Dr. Delwar Hossain, Professor of International Relations, Dr.Yang Hui, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute, faculty representatives, and students.
Dr. Ashraf emphasized that introducing Chinese language courses marks an important step in enhancing academic exchange and cross-cultural understanding. Dr. Hossain noted that as China's global influence continues to grow, “learning Chinese and understanding China” has become essential for Bangladeshi students seeking broader international perspectives and stronger career competitiveness.
Yang Hui expressed her warm welcome to the students and highlighted the potential for future cooperation in areas such as academic research, faculty and student exchanges, and short-term study programs. Faculty and student representatives also shared their enthusiasm for the new Chinese courses and looked forward to future learning opportunities.
