On 11 April 2026, the National Seminar on Climate and Disaster Resilience (NSCDR) 2026 was successfully held at the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban, University of Dhaka — bringing together academia, practitioners, policymakers, and students under one national platform.

The seminar was graced by distinguished guests, including:

The one-day event featured 22 oral presentations and 50 poster presentations from students and researchers across Bangladesh, spanning critical themes including:

• Fire, Earthquake & Urban Disaster Risk
• Emergency Response & Humanitarian Affairs
• Environment, Ecosystem & Nature-Based Solutions
