Message from the Director

Institute of Information Technology (IIT) is the pioneering academic institute for excellence in technical education at University of Dhaka. The study at this Institute is based on three core values: Professionalism, Excellence and Respect. By establishing these principles, IIT ensures that graduates from this Institute can effectively contribute in the industry.

We work with a clear vision to meet the cutting edge demands of IT industry. We focus to plant the seed of professionalism amongst our students to ensure they lead a successful life. We firmly believe that people who act professionally, encourage their colleagues and friends to conduct themselves in a manner that supports success. The students of IIT are taught not to leave their performance at existing levels, but take it many steps higher. We strongly motivate our students to go that extra mile through learning new skills and improving existing ones, a trait that can only be achieved by striving for excellence.

To remain in the forefront of the technical education in this region, IIT emphasizes on collaboration with academic institutes and IT industry home and abroad. Simultaneously, we are working on the infrastructural development to ensure the state-of-the-art facilities for the students.
